Note: Both in the lead guitar and in the bass part, chords only indicate the overall harmony. There's no rhythm guitar strumming the chords. As to the lead guitar part... there's neither bar division nor rhythm notation. I hope you understand, it seemed impossible to me... anyhow I wrote indicative chord names above the tab and tried to divide the solo in "phrases". Maybe this is not what Gary Moore actually plays, but I think it's a very good approximation. Here it is: Lead guitar ^^^^^^^^^^^ solo Am Am Dm C G E|--------------------------------------------------------------5-8-/10-(/12)-| B|------------------------------------------------------------6---------------| G|-(9)r7-5-----------7b(9)-7-5-7-9-----5------------------5-7-----------------| D|---------7-5-7----7-------------7-----7----------3-5-5/7--------------------| A|--------------------------------------------0-3-5---------------------------| E|----------------------------------------------------------------------------| Am G F Am Dm C G E|-5-7-/8-7-5--------------5-7-/8-75-7p5--5-------------5---------------------| B|-----------5-8b(10)---------------------8--8-5--------5--8-5-----------------| G|-----------------------------------------------7-7b(9)-------7p6p5--7-5------| D|-------------------------------------------------------------------7---7-5h7-| A|------------------------------------------------------------------------7----| E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| Am Dm E|-12b(15)-12-10--10-12-13-12-10h12p10--10----------------------10-12-10h12p10-| B|--------------13--------------------13--10-13-13b(15)----10-13---------------| G|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| D|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| A|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------| C G E|----10-----------------------------------------------------------------------| B|-13----13-10-----------------------10----------------------------------------| G|-------------12h14p1210----12b(14)---12h14p12-10----------------------------| D|-------------------------12-----------------------12-10----------------------| A|--------------------------------------------------------12-10----------------| E|--------------------------------------------------------------13-10-13-10-13-| Am G F E|---------------------------12-13-15-15b(17)-----(17)r15-12-------12-----| B|-------------------12-13-15-------------------------------15b(17)----15-| G|-----------10-12-14------------------------------------------------14---| D|------10-12-------------------------------------------------------------| A|-10/12------------------------------------------------------------------| E|------------------------------------------------------------------------| Dm C G E|-----17-20-22-----22b(24)-22b(24)r22-20-22-| B|---18--------------------------------------| G|-19----------------------------------------| D|-------------------------------------------| A|-------------------------------------------| E|-------------------------------------------| some licks from the 2nd chorus: E|--15b(17)r-13-15-|--8b(10)-(10)r8-5-----------|------|------------------| B|-----------------|-----------------8----------|------|------------------| G|-----------------|------------------7b(9)r7-5-|--7-5-|--7b(9)r7-5-------| D|-----------------|----------------------------|------|------------7-5-7-| A|-----------------|----------------------------|------|------------------| E|-----------------|----------------------------|------|------------------| licks from the 3rd verse: E|------------|-----------| B|----------8-|--10--10-8-| G|----------7-|-----------| D|-3-5/7-5--5-|-----------| A|------------|-----------| E|------------|-----------| licks from the outro: E|-12-13-15-12-12h13p12-10-12-10-|------------12-|------------17-| B|-------------------------------|----13-15-13---|-----13/15--13-| G|-------------------------------|--14-----------|--12--------14-| D|-------------------------------|---------------|----------------| A|-------------------------------|---------------|----------------| E|-------------------------------|---------------|----------------| Now and then there's a second guitar playing chords on the high positions, e.g. (from low E to high E): Dm: x-x-12-10-10-10, or Em7: x-x-9-9-8-10, or Am: x-x-x-14-13-12. In the final (shuffle) part, just play chords and notes around the 5th and 7th fret with a little bit of improvisation. As to the bass part... there are some variations to the progression here and there, so I tabbed the song in full though it basically consists of verse and chorus repeated over & over. You will find the song is quite syncopated, and maybe not all the notes are in the right place. I t's not 100% correct but it's the best I could do.
